Ok all ya all... Just want to give everyone a heads up... Cops seem to be extra ticket happy this year. Leaving the playa last evening I saw 5 vehicles stopped between mile marker 9 on route 34 to Empire. Additionally please be very careful when traveling north on 447 at exactly mile marker 29. There is a very hidden taco stand that people can't see until they have just about passed it. This was the site of a very bad accident last year..... Safe journey all...
P.s. Please - no stupid unsafe passing... Is it really worth endangering yourself and others over arriving 20 seconds sooner just to sit in line at Empire / Gerlach or the Gate...

The Purple Palace will arrive at Honeysuckle Hood Village at 6pm to pick up passengers. At 6:30pm we'll drive down the 3:30 lane, hopefully with hundreds of bikes following us, and drive just past the Esplanade to set up for our celebration into the sunset.
At 7:30pm we'll pause for a beautifully bonding village opening ceremony as the sun dips below the horizon. Then the music and dancing will continue into the afterglow!!

Just a friendly reminder from last year. Law enforcement will use any excuse to pull you over once you are inside BRC. If you are pulled over, you will be searched with K9 units. From the time you leave the greeter station till you park and set up camp you are a target for law enforcement revenue. Do not drive over 5 MPH, make sure your license plate is not covered by bikes/hollahoopa or anything else. Have current registration tags and know your rights.
